Do I need a credit card?
No, you can rent a car with a debit card at Malaga Airport! However, if you use a debit card, most companies will require you to purchase their full coverage insurance since they cannot block a security deposit on the card.
What is the best fuel policy?
Always choose "Full to Full". You will pick up the car with a full tank and simply need to return it full. This avoids expensive admin fees and inflated fuel prices charged by the rental company.
What happens if I scratch the car?
If you purchased Full Insurance (zero excess), you are completely covered and will not be charged. If you only have standard insurance, you will be charged for the damage up to the maximum amount of your excess (usually €1,000 - €1,500).
Can I cancel my reservation?
